will offer a special Blow Your Own Beer Mug event. Beer
Mug "blowers" will work with a team of Glassworks

Your Own Chip and Dip Bowl! |
Learn a heat-free
way to work with glass. In this two part class you will
create an abstract design using small pre-cut pieces of
glass. The next day you will grout your tray to finish
your functional work of art. Each tray is 13 x 19 x 1 ½ inches.
No previous glass working, tiling or grouting experience
is necessary. Pieces may be taken after the second day
and sealed at home.

Make
your own Deviled Egg Platter |
Transform
an ordinary light bulb into a beautiful work of art.
Using crushed glass called frit, we'll fill up a light
bulb and fuse the bits into a lovely paperweight. You
can choose as few or as many colors of frit as you like
to make something dazzling that will brighten even the
most disorganized of desks! Class maximum is 8. No previous
glass experience is necessary. Paperweights will be completed
in one afternoon but will require a night in the kiln.
Your piece will be finished and ready for pick up no
later than a week after the workshop. Register

Fused Glass Chessboard |
Checkers is an
American pastime and here at Glassworks, we're red, white
and blue (and yellow, green, purple, orange, etc.). We
encourage you to come on in to the Walk-in Workshop and
try your hand at creating your very own checker board.
Are you sure you want to move there? Using the fusing method
of layering glass upon glass, then "melting" the
glass together in our kiln, you can design your own 10"x10" version
of one of America's favorite games. No glass experience necessary.
Glass maximum is 6. Checker board will be completed in one
afternoon but will require a night in the kiln. Your piece
will be finished and ready for pickup no later than a week
after the workshop. |

Thanksigiving
Platter Workshop |
Looking for the perfect
presentation for your tasty, gourmet holiday masterpiece?
Join us in the Walk-in Workshop and make more than a turkey
this Thanksgiving! Using the fusing and slumping method,
you'll design a layered glass platter to be fused (melted),
then slumped (placed on a mold and heated to "slump" into
the mold's shape). You may choose from two platter sizes:
Large (18"x14") and Extra Large (18 1/2"x18
1/2"). Going back for seconds is no problem! Class
maximum is 6. No previous glass experience is necessary.
Platters will be completed in one afternoon but will require
a 2 nights in the kiln. Your piece will be finished and
ready for pick up no later than a week after the workshop. |
