Hands-on Activities for Events Planning a wedding, corporate event or meeting at Glassworks? Make it special for all your attendees! Glassworks offers many different types of glass art experiences to enhance your event, from glass favors, to hands-on glass craft activities during your gathering.
Arrange for your attendees to blow their own ornament! Plan for a minimum of 12 or more people for a private "Blow Your Own Ornament" session during your meeting at Glassworks. Your group will work with a Glassworks' artist to create their own, one-of-a-kind, hand blown ornament or sun catcher. Each orb, teardrop, or egg-shaped ornament is $40. Allow one hour for 12 people 1 to 2 hours for 12-24 people 2 to 3 hours for 30-36 people Additional artists can be scheduled for larger groups, allowing more people to move through quicker. Enjoy this unique, creative, and fun activity. Make your own handblown creation that your guests will treasure for years to come!
Set your tables with small fused glass favors, made in the Glassworks Walk-in Workshop, to carry the theme or colors of your event,(i.e. stars, hearts, etc.) $3.00 ea
Have all your guests participate to create a one-of-a-kind fused glass serving tray during your event, a great idea for birthday parties, wedding receptions and corporate events! platter price + $50 onsite platter price + $100 offsite Platter prices range from $40-$350
Invite your attendees to create their own designs in the Walk-in Workshop. Many different activities are available, ranging from $10 - $45, (i.e. sun catchers, trivets, fused glass projects). You may have the Workshop open during your event for a $25.00/hour rental fee, and a minimum of 10 activities.
Plan a wedding shower party in the Walk-in Workshop! Create with your bridesmaids to design hand-painted wine glasses or dessert plates for you: $15.00 each, or design fused glass plates, $45.00 each.
Expecting many children to attend your party? Keep them entertained with a glass craft in the Walk-in Workshop, (one parent or guardian should accompany the children at all times). Sun Catchers-UV light bevel activity: $10 each Fused Glass Creature Molds: $15 each $25.00/hour Minimum of 10 activities
If you are having children at your event, but want to keep them in the party space, let the Workshop staff set up a craft table in your event space, away from the dance floor, to keep the children busy: Sun Catchers-UV light bevel activity: $10 each Glassworks Activity Books/Markers: $1 each $25.00/hour Minimum of 10 activities
